Our Hiring Process

  • All applications must be submitted through our Careers Page. Click on the Jobs tab, find the role that suits you best and fill out the form with your relevant information. Please note that we do not accept applications via email.

    • Yes. If you believe Gentoo is the right place for you, we want to hear from you. You don’t need to tick every box to be a great fit. What matters most is your drive, your mindset, and your potential.

    • No. Every CV is reviewed by a real person. We don’t use auto-rejections or filters. You took the time to apply. We take the time to read it.

    • We aim to respond within two weeks, though timelines can vary depending on volume. Either way, we’ll keep you informed.

    • We tailor our process based on the role and department, but it usually follows these steps:

      • An interview with a Talent Acquisition Partner

      • A conversation with the Hiring Manager

      • A take-home assignment

      • A final interview, ideally in person at one of our offices

      If everything goes well and there's a match, we’ll be thrilled to welcome you as our new team member!

    • If you're not selected for the first interview stage, we’re unfortunately unable to provide detailed feedback. We know that can be frustrating, but due to the high volume of applicants, we have to make some tough decisions.

      Most of the time, it comes down to other candidates being a closer match for the specific role. One important thing to note is that many of our roles require on-site presence in our office cities, and we look for candidates who are already based in the city where the role is located. This is because in-person collaboration is an integral part of our work process, and we're looking for people who can regularly attend our offices.
